Nazareth House – DDA Handrail Project

Project Name:Nazareth House, Hammersmith 

Location: Hammersmith Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 8DB

Project Scope: Nazareth House is a Nursing Home in Hammersmith run by the Sisters of Nazareth. This home provides accommodation for persons over 65 who require nursing, personal care, care for dementia, or treatment of disease, disorder or injury.

The trust underwent a refurbishment of an archive store on the site, which included providing safe access for disabled persons. Ezi Klamp were called on to provide a DDA Compliant Handrail for both the access ramp and steps. The handrail system we provided was polyester powder coated to comply with the ‘Not cold to touch’ building regulations, with 42mm off-set handrails and closed ends.
